Duquesne University

Duquesne University is a private, Catholic, research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded by the Catholic Church in 1845 as the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Duquesne had become a respected institution of higher education by the early 20th century.

Duquesne’s main campus is located on nearly 400 acres in downtown Pittsburgh, adjacent to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and just a few blocks from the city’s major business district. Additionally, Duquesne has two other campuses – one in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and another in Dublin, Ireland.
