OCU is a private university located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The school was founded in 1904 as Epworth University by the Methodist Episcopal Church. OCU is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs.
The university’s main campus is situated on approximately 100 acres in the northwest part of Oklahoma City, about one mile from downtown. The campus includes several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including Goldie Mill, which houses the OCU School of Law.
In addition to its main campus, OCU operates two satellite campuses: the Graduate Village near downtown Oklahoma City and OCU-Norman, located on the south side of Norman, about 20 miles south of downtown Oklahoma City.
